This Victorian property was bought by the client in a run-down state and required a lot of care and attention to keep traditional features whilst stripping down and rebuilding parts.
In taking certain elements of its Victorian heritage, many period features were salvaged, restored and whitewashed to keep an older more traditional building but with a modern twist.
Adapting the building for a more modern and social living space, the buildings were connected at first-floor level and vaulted the loft space to provide a more dramatic a careful selection of materials, slate tiles were reused where possible resulting in a fabulous combination of old and new.
